Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson is back in training following a muscle injury suffered in February.

The Senegal striker has missed the last eight Chelsea matches due to the injury suffered February 3,2025 when Chelsea hosted West Ham at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League.

He was forced off the pitch on 52 minutes and has been missing for the last seven weeks as a result.

Chelsea were severely hampered in attack during their last league match against Arsenal, where without Jackson, they lacked presence upfront.

The Senegal striker also missed his country's twin World Cup qualifiers versus Sudan and Togo this week and his return will be big for the Blues as they chase a top four finish and a European trophy this season.

Chelsea are currently fourth with 49 points from 29 matches and lead a seven-team scrap for fourth and likely fifth place, which should be enough to secure Champions League football next season.

"Nicolas Jackson, back to training with Chelsea squad today and ready to be available after the break," Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano said on his X account Wednesday evening.

Jackson has scored nine times and collected five assists in 23 Premier League matches this season.
